    B.A. (Pass) student shall appear 500 marks in the 1st year (FUE), 500 Marks in the second year (SUE) and 400 marks in the 3rd year (FUE) thus 1400 marks in total. Out of it he/she offer six Compulsory subjects carrying 600 marks, one [pass subject carrying 400 marks and two Elective subjects carrying 200 marks each.
    * B.A. (Hons) student shall appear 600 marks in the 1st year (F.U.E.), 600 Marks in the second year (S.U.E.) and 600 marks in the 3rd year (FUE) thus 1800 marks in total. Out of it he/she offer six Compulsory subjects carrying 600 marks, one [honours subject carrying 800 marks and two Elective subjects carrying 200 marks each.

    College Examination:
    +2 1st year Classes:
    For the students of +2 1st year Arts, and Commerce classes, there shall be three examinations in each academic year. The first Terminal Examination shall be held in September, Second Terminal Exam. Shall be held on November and the Annual Examination shall be held in April. All the examinations are compulsory for all students to get the promotion to next year. The attendance and results of these three examinations are taken into consideration. Besides, the Principles determined by the Staff Council are followed in this matter. The college has also introduced Unit Tests in each year Regular examination & minimum attendance is mandatory to take promotion into 2nd year class. +2 2nd year classess For the students of +2 second year classess there shall be one pretest examination in September and one Test Examination in November .All Examination are compulsory for all students permission to sit for the council examination will depend upon students performance in the Test Examination as well 75% of attendance The college has introduced unit Test system. N.B: Students are bound to clear all their college dues before the above examinations Students adopting mal-practice or writing anything in the answear sheets unrelated to the questions or submitting blank answear scripts shall be heavily fined as fixed by the staff council. +3 Degree Classess +31styear ,+3 2nd year and +3 3rd year students shall have to appear at the pretest examination in sept & Test Examination in November/December to qualify themselves to appear at the 1st,2nd ,3rd University Examination respectively.The rules stated in the NB for +2 students is also applicable for +3 students The college has introduced unit test system. Council examination The students of +2 2nd year Atrs,Com,Sc Classess shall appear at the Higher Secondary Examination inMarch conducted by the council of Secondary Education ,Odisha. 1 The students who fill up their forms for the H.S Examination are eligible to appear at the same Examination. 2 The Pass marks in written examination is 30% and 40% in the practical examination of the maximum marks The pass marks in the aggregate is 35% of the maximum marks. 3 Candidates securing 60% or above of the total marks are placed in the first division. 4 Candidates securing 50% or above and less than 60% are placed in the second division. 5 All other successfully candidates are placed in the third division. INSTANT EXAMINATION Instead of the supplementary examination the council is conducting the instant examination which is held after 45 days of the publication of result of the annual examination The candidates eligible for appearing at the instant examination is determined by the council. UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION 1 According to the new regulation the three years Degree Cources leading to the Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Com.of Fakir Mohan University shall be spread over a period of three academic year.Acandidate for the Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Com.shall be required to pass the following examination. (i) First University Examination. (ii) Second University Examination. (iii) Final University Examination. 2 Any registered students of the University may be admitted into the first University examination in Arts/Com.If he/she has completed a regular course of study in the subjects offered by him/her for not less than one academic session securing 75%attendance after passing the Higher Secondary Examination. 3 A candidate shall be eligible to appear at the secondary University Examination in Arts/Com.If he/she has registered for the first University Examination and has cleared the first university examination in the concerned stream or has appeared the said examination and has there after complete a regular course of study for not less than one academic year in the second year course in one or more colleges in the subjects offered. 4 A candidates shall be eligible to appear at the final University Exaination in Arts/Com.if he/she has registered for the first University Examination and has cleared the first university examination in the concerned stream or has appeared the said examination and has there after complete a regular course of study for not less than one academic year in the third year course in one or more colleges in the subjects offered. 5 The final results of a candidates shall not be published unlesshe/she has passed in the first and second University Examination respectively No certificate will be issued after the publication of the results of the first and the second University Examination It will be provide after the publication of the results of the Final University Examination .Each candidates has to pay Rs.150/ towards the certificate at the time of filling up forms. 6 In order to clear an examination (First/Second/Final) candidates is required to secured minimum 30% marks in a theory subject and 40% in eachpractical paper. 7 A candidate who fails to secure a minimum of 30% in pass subjects 45% in honours subjects 40% in practical paper and 36% in aggregate in the First/Second/Final University Examination may be allowed to appear in those subjects in not more than two chances (Two Back Exams)immediately following that examination for which he/she was first registered to clear the back papers on payments of prescribed fees. 8 If a candidates has appeared in the second chance and also has failed such a candidate can appear at the examination in all papers under new course only within 5 years of 1st registration to first Degree Examination. College Annual fees & Subscriptions. Scholarship, Stipends & Awards: The college provides facilities of free studentship and scholarship to the poor-cum-meritorious students. Help from Social Service Guide and University Student s Aid Fund and also given to the poor-cum-meritorious students. Free ship and other financial help cannot be claimed as a matter of right. It depends on satisfactory conduct and progress in study if students awarded freeships and other financial help fail to receive the same in the current academic session they cant claim it in the next year besides the deserving meritorious students can avail any one of the scholarships of the state Govt and centrail govt as given below. 1 junior college merit scholarship I this scholarship is awarded to the studenton the result of annual H.S.C Examination Selection is made purely on the merit basis which is done by the state Govt. Ii Merit scholarsip for hildren of primary and secondary teachers is available from the Govt.of India .The students must have secured at least 60% marks in the H.S.C Examination to avail it. 2 Senior College Merit Scholarship:- I This Scholarship is awarded to the students in the results of the Annual +2 Arts /Commerce /Science Examination .The Scholarship is awarded purely on merit basis. Ii Children of freedom fighters who have passed the H.S.C Exam are eligible to apply for the stipend at +2 and +3 level provided that the monthly income of such freedom fighters doesn’t exceed Rs 300/-per month . Iii Govt.of India Post Metric scholarship to the SC and S.T students are also available and the same is distributed by the collector of the District. 3 National Scholarship of Govt.of India. Selection of Receipients of this scholarship is made by the B.S.E Orissa on the basis of H.S.C Examination under intimation to the selected students. 4 Govt.of India Scholarship to the Blind Deaf and Physically Handicapped . Thr Students who are awaded this Scholarship should be between 13 to 30 years old and should have secured at least 40% of marks at the previous Annual Examination. 5 State Govt.Stipend: This is awarded to the Physically Handicapped students in the post matric stage on the basis of the marks secured at the Annual H.S.C Examination .The applicant should have secured at least 40% of marks and should be within 30 years of age .The value of the Scholarship is Rs 30/-PM. 6 National Loan Scholarship This is awarded to the students inside India only at the post matric stage .Awards are made on the results of any of the qualifying examination conducted by the B.S.E/C.H.S.E. N.B Detailed information regarding any of the Scholarship stipend is to be had from the college office.
